We love creating everything from hand-packaged lunches, to local comfort food, to dressed-up & classy traditional favorites. When we cater your event, we commit to not only impressing you but impressing your guests as well. We go beyond providing food and take a very personal approach in getting to know you and the details of your event. The story
After working 17 years in many positions in foodservice Amanda decided to take on a whole new challenge and start her catering business. She catered for friends and family for fun in the past and really believed she could grow a strong business. With a fun and trendy marketing vision in place she needed a catchy name and was stuck.
In the meantime, while making salsa one day, she tasted the salsa and was shocked by the flavor and heat. She knew her son was right behind her so with her “mom mouth” she screamed “THAT’S BUCKIN HOT!” It was too much fun to repeat ~and turned heads when done~ so it stuck as the name for Buckin’ Hot Catering L.L.C. With a slick new logo, local favorite inspired menu, 9 page business plan, and a ton of passion for business and food, she was ready.
MEET THE TEAM
Amanda
Amanda has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industry. Amanda was a sales rep for two of the top foodservice purveyors helping restaurants successfully run day to day operations and menu planning. Her B.S. in Human Services helps the center of her work to be on providing excellent personal service.
Prior to starting Buckin’ Hot Catering, Amanda catered for friends and family on holidays and birthday parties as a hobby and wanted to turn her hobby into a great business. Amanda is extremely passionate about creating meals you will remember and making your event process effortless and seamless for you.
Event Teammates
Buckin’ Hot Catering is blessed to have an amazing group of teammates with many years of foodservice experience to assist with events. This group also includes a Culinary Arts student and a strong Event Team Leader, Hannah, who has been Amanda’s right hand since day one.
